Getting to Know Aero Series: Usman

We wanted to introduce our little family to you through our Getting to Know Aero series. Today, we will introduce to you our newest team member onboard, Muhammad Usman. Usman is joining us as a Junior Accountant at Aero Group’s Gold Coast branch. Read on to get to know what shaped him to be the person he is today.

What drives you, Usman?

It is all about continuous learning and improvement. Understanding and addressing internal and external challenges and coming up with tailored solutions motivates me to keep pushing myself to go above and beyond the line of responsibility.

What book did you read that changed your life the most?

The Art of Work

Book by Jeff Goins

Reading ‘The Art of Work’ by Jeff Goins changed me as a professional and an individual. The book talks about identifying the path to the destination that you were meant to reach. The book reinforced the message that how important it is to do something in life that provides you a purpose and sense of identity.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Never be afraid to fail. Each failure teaches you an important lesson. “

What’s your current passion project outside of work?

I strongly believe in giving back to the community. I am an active volunteer in providing community

services to the special needs’ groups.

What do you like to do during the weekends?

I like to stay active over the weekends. I like swimming, camping and group sport.

What is your dream travel destination and why?

My dream travel destination is the country ‘Turkey’. I would love to explore the historical places and unique architecture.
