The team at Aero Group is small but our dedication to our clients is unmatched!
We wanted to introduce our little family to you through our Getting to Know Aero series. Today we will introduce to you our all star Admin and Tax Assistant, Rabina Gwachha. Get to know what shaped Rabina to be the person she is now!
What drives you, Rabina?
I have always been driven to learning new things and acquiring new skills. In a world where everything is constantly changing and improving, it’s even more important that we adapt, learn and grow along with these changes.
What book did you read that changed your life the most?
Book by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler
Currently, I am reading “The Art of Happiness” which teaches you how to be calm and deal with positive and negative situation accordingly. The book highlights the concept of happiness and how we can all work our way to attain it. It gives a new narrative to the art of happiness as it is not shrouded by our own superficial beliefs. It is a breath of fresh air and has so far made me come to realise that happiness lies in the way we define it and not what is superficially deemed by society.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“Every time you say ‘Yes’ to something, make sure you are not saying ‘No’ to yourself “
I find this advice to still ring true to this day, sometimes we get caught up wanting to help other people that we tend to deny ourselves of the right to say no to others. It is a reminder for me to check in with myself first to see whether I hold the capacity to help someone before I agree to their requests.
What’s your current passion project outside of work?
My current passion project outside of work is learning to cook new dishes. It is amazing the different types of food you can create with similar ingredients but with different methods. I try to cook something new from different cuisines to sample all the types of food! Which is undeniably the best part!
What do you like to do during the weekends?
I like to travel and explore new places during my weekends and spend some quality time with my family.
What is your dream travel destination and why?
My dream travel destination is my country Nepal where I want to travel and explore every part of my country.
We hope you are enjoying this little series of our Aero Team. Tune in next time to get to know our other team members!
